Who we are

The David Parfitt Landscape Consultancy has been delivering strategic planning services across diverse sectors and industries since 2014. The company's founder begun a career in landscape as a teenage gardener in 1993, graduating from the University of Greenwich in landscape architecture in 1999. David took on a role as a landscape technician and draftsman in Istanbul where he worked on Bosphorus villas, international schools, commercial sites and a US Embassy.

In 2008 David established his own landscape design, construction and management firm which served private and public sector clients. The business managed several show homes and new developments for Persimmon, Barratt and Ward and was selected to create a Park for the Folkestone Triennial with artist and sculptor Pae White.

David went back to school at his alma mater, the University of Greenwich, to complete a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture with distinction where he was trained in landscape assessment and design, ecological strategies. Following this David received his Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute. In 2021 also gained a Masters degree in Town Planning from the University of Brighton. David's focus of this further study was to understand the causes and remedies for urban sprawl and to be able to work to conserve the British countryside.
