Para 84 Dwellings
Much of the work of the practice is devoted to supporting applications for exceptional dwellings in the countryside. This paragraph of the National Planning Policy Framework permits development that is of an exceptional standard and significantly enhances its setting.
Landscape Design
The practice provides a comprehensive landscape design service, from Masterplans for large scale developments incorporating Green Infrastructure, to fine scale detailing of hard and soft landscape. Management plans are often required for planning and are provided.
Impact Assessment
Environmental impact regulations may require an assessment of the impact of a development on the character of an area and views. Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments can be integrated into the design process to assist with site investigation and formation of acceptable and well mitigated proposals.
Site Selection
We advise on the suitability of sites for development based on planning policies and site features. The anticipated requirements for planning permission can be set out. Locations of prospective buildings and other features are suggested in collaboration with project architects.
